Celine has unveiled its foray into the world of beauty with the introduction of Celine Beauté, marking a significant expansion for the French fashion house. The announcement was made via the brand’s Instagram account, teasing the release of its inaugural cosmetics line alongside the autumn/winter 2024 fashion film, ‘La Collection De L’Arc De Triomphe.’
The centerpiece of the cosmetics line is the ‘Le Rouge Celine’ collection, featuring 15 shades of lipstick set to launch in January 2025. Among these is the ‘La Peau Nue’ rose-hued lipstick, showcased by models striding through the streets of Paris in the fashion film.
Helmed by Celine’s artistic director, Hedi Slimane, Celine Beauté builds upon the success of the fashion house’s haute parfumerie collection, introduced in 2019. According to the brand, the creation of Celine Beauté aims to embody a quintessentially French concept of femininity and allure, reflecting Slimane’s innovative vision for Maison Celine.
The debut product from Celine Beauté, set to launch this autumn, is the ‘Rouge Triomph’ satin lipstick. Formulated with 89 percent natural origin ingredients, this lipstick offers a radiant, long-wearing, and hydrating formula. Celine emphasizes that the satin-finish texture is crafted to evoke a sensorial experience reminiscent of haute couture fabrics, reflecting Slimane’s meticulous attention to detail.
Looking ahead, Celine Beauté plans to introduce a range of new collections each season, curated by Slimane himself. These collections will encompass lip balms, mascaras, eyeliners, pencils, loose powders, blush cases, and nail polishes, promising a comprehensive beauty experience infused with Celine’s signature elegance and sophistication.
