Human rights activist Adetoun Onajobi shared that her husband had 87 girlfriends when they first met. In an interview on the WithChude podcast, she revealed the challenges these relationships posed to her marriage. Adetoun described facing both physical and spiritual battles to end her husband’s promiscuous lifestyle. Despite the difficulties, she emphasized the transformative change in her husband and the efforts she made to preserve their relationship. Adetoun recounted instances where some of the girlfriends actively sought to disrupt their marriage, including one described as “a pure mermaid” who appeared to her husband. She highlighted her commitment to the relationship and the battles she fought to bring about positive change.
