Renowned Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel reminisced about his time working at a printing press in Abeokuta, Ogun State, a memory prompted by a fan seeking financial assistance to start a similar business. The fan, Adebayo Olam, requested a N3 million loan, offering a 15% return on investment to the ‘Twe Twe’ hitmaker. “Give me a loan of 3 million to invest in my printing business and I will return it with 15%,” Adebayo Olam suggested.
Responding, Kizz Daniel recounted his own stint at Jaroy Idi Aba, a printing press in Abeokuta, where he made N150,000. “I did printing press for 1 year at Jaroy Idi Aba Abeokuta, I made 150k 💁🏿♂️ tell me things are different now 🙄” he stated, pondering if the present economic conditions have altered the dynamics of the industry.
