French sustainable footwear label Veja has made its mark in London with the launch of its debut store in the heart of Seven Dials.
Nestled at 45 Monmouth Street, amidst the vibrant neighborhoods of Covent Garden and Soho, the 1,475 square foot space showcases Veja’s renowned range of sneakers. What sets this store apart is its innovative in-store cobbler station, offering repair and cleaning services for sneakers and shoes from any brand.
In collaboration with London-based interior designer Deidra Hodgson, Veja has crafted a unique retail experience. The store boasts a striking rounded shelving display crafted from 5,000 natural stone bricks sourced from France. Opting for natural stone over clay, Veja prioritizes sustainability, as these bricks are manufactured without firing, thereby reducing their carbon footprint.
This London opening marks another milestone in Veja’s global expansion strategy. Following the launch of its second US location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, earlier this month, and the debut of its standalone sneaker “repair temple” in Paris in February, Veja continues to cement its presence in key fashion capitals worldwide.
